Smart Keys

Smart, or proximity keys can stay in your pocket or purse when you unlock or start your car. The car and key both transmit and receive a signal, communicating the authority code to run your car. Some systems use a thumb-turn device or a push button to start the car.

Ekeys4Cars has an extensive supply of smart keys. In most cases, these smart keys can be reused – so we purchase them used and refurbish them. Replacing the emergency key inserts, we can cut these keys to match your car and program the “smart” function.

Also, as with remotes, we can service your existing key by replacing the battery, re-soldering the battery clip, replacing a broken case or worn out rubber pads, or replacing the emergency key insert for a fraction of the cost you would incur at a dealership.
